CUPERTINO, Calif. - September 08, 2009
Interra Systems, Inc., a leading provider of products and services for Digital Media industry, is featuring many new products and significant enhancements to its existing products at IBC-2009 being held September 11-15, 2009 at RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre in Amsterdam.

Interra will be showcasing its industry leading solutions that include Baton, an automated content verification system which ensures media content readiness, Vega, a family of Audio/Video analyzers which accelerate media product development and BDQuest, comprehensive software for verification of BD-ROM movie objects for compliance of BD-ROM format.

Baton - Automated content verification system for content readiness:
Baton is an industry leading software solution that ensures content readiness in file-based SD, HD and mixed workflows. Baton's content readiness goes well beyond traditional QC with support for maximum formats, most comprehensive quality checks, pre-defined playout specs and integration readiness with most media servers & workflows. Baton's content readiness makes it an objective verification system throughout the content lifecycle - across Acquisition, Post production, Ingest, Edit & Playout.

As part of Baton-Connect program, Interra has forged partnerships with leading technology vendors of Workflows, Transcoders, DAM/MAM and Storage solutions. Interra's collaboration with these partners enabled extension of Baton capabilities across formats, quality checks and integration readiness with partner solutions.

Baton's wide-ranging formats support, already the most comprehensive in the industry, is further expanded to address many legacy formats such as DNxHD & LXF. Baton quality checks have also been extended to address many new broadcast issues such as Flashiness & up/down conversion.

Vega AVSync - for Audio/ Video Sync analysis & Debug:
Vega AVSync is a new product addition to Interra's widely acclaimed Vega family of offline audio/ video analyzers. Interra's Vega family of analyzers help media professionals analyze and troubleshoot encoded video and audio problems in their products.

Broadcast, IPTV, Mobility solution providers working on technologies, such as encoders, multiplexers, need to test and debug audio-video sync points to make sure that the presentation timestamps are assigned accurately.

InterraIs Vega AVSync enables media professionals to perform synchronization measurements and identify all out-of- sync points in the content. For each sync point, the solution providers can examine information such as the packet number, frame number, PTS value, and more. Vega AVSync is based on the debug platform of industry-leading Vega Analyzers from Interra.

Vega TSA - The transport stream analyzer:
Vega TSA is another product addition to Interra's Vega family of offline Audio/video analyzers. Media professionals working on MPEG based systems, such as encoders, decoders, multiplexers, demultiplexers, need to test and debug the integrity of MPEG-2 Transport streams for standards compliance - Can the MPEG-2 Transport stream be decoded correctly, do the packets carry data, is the clock accurate, is the buffer occupancy below overflow?

Interra's Vega TSA enables solution providers for Cable, IPTV, etc to quickly bring-to-market high quality, standards-compliant MPEG based systems. Vega TSA analyzes encoded MPEG-2 Transport streams based on ATSC, DVB, ISDB-S, ISDB-T, TR101, CableLabs VoD, and MPEG standards and provides a microscopic view into the stream: from structural hierarchy down to encoded bits. Vega TSA precisely pinpoints standards violation in the stream and provides graphical representation of details such as stream occupancy, bandwidth utilization, timing inaccuracy, and more.

Vega TSA is based on the debug platform of industry-leading Vega analyzers from Interra.
