CUPERTINO, California - September 08, 2014

Interra Systems, Inc., based in Cupertino, CA, is pleased to announce that Canal+ France has decided to use its automated content verification product, Baton in its workflow.

"Canal+ delivers the most innovative premium pay-TV content to French customers across any screen they choose: television, smartphone, tablet and computer. As we move towards an electronic delivery model, we needed a way to QC the different types of content we receive at Canal+. Interra’s Baton software allows us to verify the integrity of our content, maintain consistency across our transcode platforms and ensure that we are sending quality content for play-out. Baton will become an integral component in our workflow," said Alexandre Mougel, Project Manager, Canal+.

"Customers of premium TVs are demanding. Our Baton solution allows companies to verify content across multiple stages in their file based workflows. Baton has emerged as the preferred tool for ensuring content readiness in companies that handle a large quantity of content. The flexibility and scalability embodied in Baton are particularly suited for QC for various stages like ingest, transcode and archiving," commented Ashish Basu, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Interra Systems, Inc.

Baton® is a multi-platform, automated content verification system for file-based SD, HD, and mixed workflows. Supporting wide range of codecs and media containers, Baton ensures quality control of media content before play-out. Baton is highly flexible and can be quickly scaled for large facilities or high volume of content. As a hardware and O/S independent solution Baton can be easily integrated in a facilities’ existing infrastructure.
