File-based Solution Fits Programmer's Workflow Requirements
CUPERTINO, California - March 10, 2015
Interra Systems, a leading provider of video analysis and QC tools, announced that Brazilian broadcaster Globosat has selected the Baton QC solution for integration into its file-based workflows. Interra will be demonstrating the latest version of Baton at the National Association of Broadcasters Show, 13-16 April, on booth SU 7105.
Founded in 1991, Globosat is now one of the region’s largest programmers with popular, diverse channels such as SporTV, Telecine, GNT, and Globo News, among others. The company supports more than 33 channels of high-quality news and entertainment.
Baton is a multi-platform, automated content verification (quality control) system for file-based SD, HD, and mixed workflows.
“Baton has helped us by providing the tools that we need to quickly identify issues in our workflows, but most importantly, it’s the best support that we’ve ever seen,” said Venicio Vaz, Technology Support Coordinator, Globosat, Rio de Janeiro. “The great experience with the support team began at the time of installation, and since then Interra Systems have been answering our questions about how to properly use the tools that Baton offers. The feedback is always efficient and very quick.”
“We welcome the opportunity to work with Globosat,” said Juanchy Mejia, Sales Director, Southeast US and Latin America for Interra Systems. “As with satellite service providers in other parts of the world, these businesses demand a very robust, scalable QC solution for their file-based workflows. We hope that Baton will allow them to QC the larger volume and variety of programming they receive from their providers to their exacting standards. We believe Baton’s integration with other components in their file-based workflow will reduce their time to deployment and help them monetize their content more quickly.”
