Post Production Services for Recorded Media
CUPERTINO, California - March 31, 2015
Interra Systems, a leading provider of tools for video analysis and quality control, announced that DigiInnovations has selected the Baton QC platform for analyzing and perfecting its content. Located in Taiwan, DigiInnovations (formerly Bossdom Technology) provides post production services and content preparation for stored media. Baton is an automated, file-based QC system. Interra Systems will be demonstrating Baton at the National Association of Broadcasters Show at booth SU7105 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 13-16, 2015.
DigiInnovations offers a range of post-production services including editing, authoring, printing and packaging. Much of the content prepared by DigiInnovations is now authored in HD, including Blu-ray packaging and films formatted for IMAX theaters.
Baton is a multi-platform, automated content verification (quality control) system for SD, HD, and mixed workflows. The latest version adds increased subtitling and closed caption formats support, enhanced 4K and HEVC support, better visual checking, multi-language support for QC reports, and multi-severity quality checks, a feature that is unique to Baton.
“Our goal for all clients is outstanding quality and service from start to finish,” said Feng Lin, Deputy General Manager, DigiInnovations. “Using Baton for content verification helps us deliver on that promise. The software offers us the tools we need to ensure proper audio and video formatting as well as interoperability on all of our projects.”
“DigiInnovations approached us with their need for verifying content in a variety of different formats and their need to check fairly deep baseband video quality issues” said Sanjay Mittal, Managing Director, Asia, Interra Systems. “The Baton platform was just the right solution for their needs. Baton offers the most complete and trustable baseband checks with minimal occurrence of false detections. Baton’s flexible and scalable architecture makes it a perfect choice for post-production houses as well as large broadcasters. We are increasingly seeing post houses deploy Baton for their file QC needs in the APAC region. I am very happy that we were able to satisfy DigiInnovations needs.”
